Disk Defragmenter also referred to as defrag, consolidate all the data segments in order to enhance computer productivity. Defragging your system makes the computer faster by setting up each file so it can be easily located after being requested by consolidating incomplete files. A file archive is the expression used for a computer program which combines several files together into one archive file, the record themselves or a series of archive files, for easier storage, convenience and transportation. Most file archivers utilize archive formats that provide lossless file compression to minimize the volume of the archive.
Normally when persons are transmitting a large collection of individual files over a network that sometimes experience temporary inactivity such as the web. The most basic archivers just compact a listing of data and concatenate their information sequentially into an archive.
