Sipping a Cup of Coffee with Apple

I got my laptop using my friend’s credit card last year. I bought a compaq cq40 hoping it would do good with my work as an online ESL teacher. For the first four months it worked fine, and showed amazing performace with speed. The processor is a coreduo so the performance was incredible. However the LCD flickered at the bottom part of the screen. So I was worried that the LCD will just totally get busted. I hurriedly called the compaq trunk line and ask the warranty of their product. Ergo, I have to go back to the store where I got my laptop and wait for three months for the replacement. Within those months I hardly work because I don’t have any laptop to use for my online job. My friend who visted from Cebu came and noticed I don’t have a computer. She offered me her new Macbook which she purchased one month ago at the apple store. I was not so familiar with the apple thingy so I asked if do i need applecare protection plan. To my surprise she doesn’t even know about it! Well I understand my friend’s a technophobic so I just continue with my work while she was telling me her recent visit to Thailand. She was telling me how cheap the clothes were and how spicy the food was. I was used with my pc so I need to ask her how to connect skype to ichat. With this one I know she knew how to do it because she has been chatting with her husband who happens to be in Canada for a conference. We were laughing at how ignorant we are at these machines. She was still telling me her hilarious stories from her sea cruise across Asia. And I told myself I should have a break so I ended up at the sofa listening to her fun experiences while sipping a cup of coffee.
