Rules for the Would-Be Shoplifter
January 18th, 2012 by admin
You really don’t have to worry about Wireless Alarm Systems if you’re planning on going into shoplifting as a hobby or as a way to supplement your income. However there are other considerations and security systems to take into account so it’s always best to be aware and prepared.
When shoplifting it’s always a good idea to have some extra money on your person because if you get caught it will be pretty hard to claim that you intended to buy the lifted item if you don’t have a dime in your pockets. On the other hand, buying one thing while you shoplift another doesn’t guarantee success either. In fact it’s best to find a salesperson and ask them for an item that you are positive that they don’t have so that they are never suspicious if they see you wandering around the store.
Always be on the lookout for the store watchman and remember that he or she can be anyone, in any costume, disguise or come from any age group. Stores go through great pains to hire undercover security that blend so the next time you get pinched for lifting that wrist watch, it may very well be the old lady who asked you for the time just before you made the heist that puts the finger on you.
Don’t worry about your outfit when shoplifting either. This is wasted time because security people in the stores know that a well-dressed customer is just as likely to lift without paying as someone looking like they just came from a shelter. Pay more attention to your technique and your surroundings than to your camouflage and your success rate will increase tenfold.
